Full scholarships possible. Must meet NCAA transfer requirements and complete 2-4 transferable core courses per term.
Partial and full aid. Most realistic scholarship path for a productive CCCAA sophomore.
No athletic aid, strong academic aid. Excellent for high-GPA transfers.
Flexible eligibility rules, athletic aid available, great fit for late-blooming recruits.
The Six-Step Path
Meet with the athletic counselor
Build a transfer-focused ed plan by week 4.
Know your eligibility
Transferable units, GPA minimums and seasons of competition.
Build your profile
Highlight video, full game film, stats, transcript and references.
Research schools
Level of play, major, cost, distance, roster needs at your position.
Reach out
Email coaches with film + academic info. Follow up every 2-3 weeks.
Visit & decide
Ask about aid, playing time, graduation and support services.

Questionnaires
Every four-year program has a recruiting questionnaire on its athletics site. Fill one out for every school on your target list — it's how you enter their database.
